Cst. Moggy attended his last official CAN meeting and introduced his replacement. He is a 21 year veteran with GSPS with has very wide expertise in Search and Rescue. Welcome to Capreol Cst Marc Savignac. He is a well spoken, affable individual who will fit in very well. We do thank Cst. Moggy for his dedicated service for the last 5 years. The best of everything in your new posting.
Actual crime phone calls were up to 15 in November but most related to the vandalism of the school busses. It appears most of the crime done in Capreol is attributed to the same group of individuals.
Shame on them!
Sherry Hasanefendic, Sudbury co-ordinator of the Citizens on Patrol program spoke of the successes of the program in Capreol and,as always, they are looking for volunteers. It is a great program and worthy of some volunteer hours should you be inclined.
The Candle Walk, Tree Lighting and Santa Claus Parade were huge successes this month with hundreds of people attending the Cenotaph and lining the parade route. Thank you to the organizers Karen, Steven, John Jr., and Natalie.A big thank you to all of the financial supporters of these events.
The Centennial 100 Committee is gearing up for the fund raising project of selling tickets on the 1964 Mustang. Please support in buying and selling the tickets.The Committee is meeting the first Monday of the month at Trinity United Church at 6:30 pm. You are all welcome. Bring your ideas and support.
As the CAN continues to connect you and City, we do welcome one and all to our meetings and encourage each group in town to send a representative to keep us informed on your activities.
